Happy New Year to all of you! I’m grateful for your readership this past year, and for those of you who recently began following this blog. This post is a pause to say a special thanks to you.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a short, highly visual 2013 annual report for this blog. Please take a look at what your and overall reader interest shows! If you click on the “ClustrMaps” feature on the right, look at where readers on the world map are, and then scroll down to the state and country totals, you’ll see what I mean. I continue to be surprised and delighted at the number of states and countries my readers come from, and what the leading states and countries of readers are.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,900 times in 2013. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.
After viewing the complete report, let’s see what develops in 2014! As 2013 wound down, posts on this blog have been viewed over 20,000 times since its inception in 2011. The total number of blog followers is now over 6,700. I will continue to provide unusual stories here that I hope you find worthwhile.
Again, thank you so much.
